So let's do this

I have just purchased a new camera. I want to learn about travel photography and perhaps write about my travels for publication. I am not a good writer (already obvious) but have read that anyone can learn at any age (we'll see). Confession --- I also purchased a "Dummy" book on how to take photos with my new camera. Need all the help I can get if I am ever to post any pictures.

I've also been doing art journaling and mixed media for about three years and have never posted anything. Am starting a new mixed media class next month and I would like to post my progress. 

This blog is about making a commitment to posting something about my experiences, good or bad and hopefully improving as time goes on. 

So let's do this............
